However, in my search for some answers regarding my ENDO, I did send a question to the CEC. I received an excellent reply from Dr. Ken Sinervo. He answered all my questions and really helped to put my mind at ease. I truly believe that this center is really dedicated to solving all issues related to ENDO. In the reply from Dr. Sinervo, he mentions that the CEC has used EXCISION on over 1700 patients and over 80% of these patients experience long term pain relief and satisfaction. If you've looked at the success rates for other types of surgery to "cure" ENDO, you'll know that this success rate is much higher. Futhermore, the chance of recurrence is only 10%! These are pretty good odds as far as I'm concerned. Dr. Sinervo explains that EXCISION (rather than laser ablation) is more successful as "an incision is made around the implants and the ENDO is removed and undermined, and we can see normal tissue under the disease and maximize the chances thal all the disease is removed". In all of the research I've done, this technique seems to be "the way of the future". I am jealous that you have the opportunity to go to this Center in order to get relief from your pain. If I were you, I would NOT hesitate for one second to go to this center for care. I wish you all the best.....Cara
