I don't remember when exactly I had my Lupron shot (whether I was on or off my period) but I do remember having break through bleeding and it freaked me out. I remember it being enough bleeding where I had to wear a pad, not a panty liner and it happened more than once. I contacted my doctor who told me it was perfectly normal to have break through bleeding while on Lupron. Which in my opinion was weird because I thought the whole purpose was not to have a period. Why go through all the other syptoms of Lupron if you are still going to get a period. Might as well stay off Lupron and keep getting a period. Then again I am not Lupron friendly. I had CRAZY side effects and I swear I will never do it again. But I have other friends who didn't have any symptoms nore did they have break through bleeding. I guess it just depends on the person. But I do suggest that you talk to your doctor and other doctors if need be and research, research, research. Because doctors are in cahoats (sp?) with there drug manufactors sometimes.
