Lisa, There is a list serve on Yahoo and a list on a site called endo victims. You can search the second site by state and city, the first is a post system where you can post to the group members asking if anyone knows of a good doc in your area. I found my doctor by asking my primary care doc (who I really trust) for a recommendation. As for the back pain, my doc referred to it as "birthing pain"....typically caused by endo on the sacral ligament (which attaches your uterus to your body). When I had my lap 3 months ago he severed the nerves in that ligament to reduce the pain. I've noticed alot of relief since then. In the meantime, hot baths, heating pads, and pain meds were what worked for me. Alyson
