I wanted to let you know that I am new here too. I have not been diagnoses as of yer either, but I did go to my first doctors appt today. I was real scared cause this was a dr that I've never met before. He was GREAT! I was really nervous and thought that he's either rush me or tell me it was in my head or something of that nature, but it was nothing like that at all. He took his time with me and we talked and then of course he examined me. Since I was on the last day of my cycle I won't lie and say the exam didn't hurt. It hurt real bad but I knew it had to be done. He was real nice about it though. Of course like the ER dr he thinks I have endo as well. He is setting up a lap for me and said that it will be within the next 3 weeks. He wants to do it before my cycle comes back around. I pray that you will have the same experence as I did today. He didn't try to get me to take anything and offer pain meds that weren't a narcodic sice I have 3 kids. He wants to make sure, just like I do, that I have endo before we try to treat it. Juanita
