Amanda, I was diagnosed in Oct 05. The best thing I can tell you is to
educate yourself and be active in your treatments and medical decisions.
Don't do something just because a Doctor says this is the way things are
done. Do something if you feel it right for you. There are some great
people here and well you can probably get any question you have answered
here because if the treatment is out there chances are someone here has
tried it. As for your boyfriend not understanding well that is common.
My husband tries to be sympathetic but he will never really understand
what goes on in a woman's body or mind. There was once a letter posted
on here a poem like, that was wonderful it really hits home as to our
partners understanding us. If I find it again I will repost it for you.
I wish you the best of luck. Rhonda
