Re: how fast does endo grow?

Har, I had my second lap about three months ago for endo...my first was only a year prior. In that time frame my endo advanced rather quickly from a very mild case to having it throughout my pelvic cavity (uterus front and back, sacral ligament, ovaries, tubes, abdominal wall). I also developed an orange sized endometrioma in that time frame. I have read posts on here from women that have had a lap every couple of years, to women that have had to have the surgery multiple times a year. I think it all depends on your body. Multiple surgeries do increase the possibility of adhesions, but adhesions can also form in response to the endo growth. As far as the pregnancy goes, my doctor told me that "data shows" that the best time to try to get pregnant is within 4-6 months following a laproscopic surgery/endo removal. Good luck to you, Alyson
