Hakeem,

First rule of thumb. Never apologise for asking a question or even venting to the ladies. Thats what we are here for right. To Support eachother and give and take advice. I wish I could tell you how fast endo grows, But but beleieve its different in everyone. How did you come about the idea you had endo? I only ask cause most womens comes with a lot of chronic pain. Anyways, The lap is totally up to you. I'am however unsure why they would choose to do a lap before trying the less extenive things like Birth Contorl, and diet change. As the baby thing goes. I do here of a lot of women getting their endo cleaned out before trying to concieve. I would imagine it would make things easier for them. If your worried about having a lap, they are not very complicated. If you are worried about them burning the endo or freezing it out you can always tell the Dr to only get rid of it if its bad. You can say to him that you would rather not have it removed if its only a few spots and if he thinks it wont affect you trying to conceieve. This is a tough one though because if you don't have the lap and do not know how much endo is there you might spend two years trying to concieve and find out that you can't because you have to much of it, but if your not in a lot of pain then I can see where you'd want to wait. One thing about endo is that you ould have the worst stage five endo and have no pain, or only have half a dozen spots and have tremendoes pain. Endos funny that way. If I were you I would talk to my Dr and tell him I would like him to make the call. He knows more about endo than you. IF you don't feel comfortable with his judgment, you could try finding a Dr who specialises in only endo. I hope something I said helped you. Good luck. Ps. Have you had a Pelvic Ultrasound? Where they go inside you. I ask because this is how they determined wether to do another lap on me. MY ovary was stuck to my Uterus.
