I am scheduled to have a lap next month (my first one) but as my pain is not bad at all I want to know what will happen if I left the endo alone and took no treatment until a year or two from now after I have had a baby. How bad can it get? Are there any studies which monitor the rate of growth? Does the rate change from one person to the other? I am frightened of getting the lap since I know it can also cause adhesions etc. Does anyone know if the lap affects one's chances of having a baby? Apologies -- I am just afraid and don't know if my decision of lap is a correct one or not. I have been to several doctors and they think I have endo but I have not really tried any treatment for endo as yet, not even the continous birth control pill and am going straight for a lap.
