Hi Christina, First of all yest there are other treatments available. None of them cures however it is a guess and test until you find the one that works for you. I took Syneral for 6 months(similar to Lupron not as yucky) and then continuous birth control which for me really worked. But that doesn't work on all. Im curious do you mean Depo Pevera and Lupron? First of all if you are under 30(well any age really) Your doctor should not be recomending Depo Pevera as it can cause perminant(sp new nails don't work so well) bone loss. There is currently a class action suit that has been started against the makers of this drug because of this. There are also some natural suppliments, the Chiropractor, acupuncture, and diet, that can help I have yet to try any of these.(When I have this baby I think I will(other then the diet can't give up red meat)). It might be worth your while to get a second opinion to find out what other options you have avaliable to you. Remember a good Doc will work with you to try and minimize your problems no tell you what he/she is going to do(no discussion).
