Re: Desperate in Ottawa with UTI symptoms

Michelle, Has anyone suggested that you may have IC? Interstitial Cystitus (sp?)It often accompanies Endo, and it can be a reason for blood in the urine. In the lists of tests you did not mention a cytoscopy, or a urodynamics study. In the cytoscopy they send a camera into the bladder to see what is going on, if they did not do this yet I am very surprised. My urologist wanted to do it immediately when he found out I was diag. with endo. I kept on having symptoms of UTI with blood and never had bacteria. If there is endo on or around the bladder causing adhesions on the bladder it can feel like UTI all the time. I know, it is the story of my life. I may have a mild case of IC as my DR. put it. I also have endo, also lasered off, and I have a fibroid tumor growing in that area. All of this causes a sensitive bladder that reacts to everything. It may be the endo, but if they have not done those two tests I would go a urologist who will perform them. Having any pain is pretty bad but to combine endo pain and bladder pain ~ with bladder frequency is the worst. Good luck I hope you can find a solution prettey soon. B....
