I feel the same way, 3 years ago I started haveing horrible periods and migrains. Neurologist says they are not related and put my on a whole bunch of meds. topomax, inderal LA, and another for the pain when I do get a migrain. Nothing helped. All that seemed to do was to make my periods stop. I stopped all the meds and my periods returned the doc said that the meds wouldn't be the reason my periods stopped. No wanted to investigate any further. The neurolgist said to take a suppliment called migrelief it is a combo of riboflavin and magnesium. He also said to take 600 mg of ibuprofen the entire week befor but with my stomach I can't do that. I never did get around to taking it but I do t ake a multivitamin and I notice less migraines. I do have triggers that will guarantee a migrain but sometimes they just hit me BAMB! I get them mostly the week before my period but they can also hit at any time. If you find something that works let me know. Hope you have a good day. Rhonda
