Re: SOMETHING SEEMS WRONG< PLEASE HELP!From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Dec 28 10:40:53 2005
Well, let's see Jennifer, you could have been cooking up a UTI, bladder infection or inflammation, etc. You say you are attempting to conceive so are you and your husband having sex more frequently? Ever heard of honeymoonitis? This is very common and is mainly an irritation/inflammation of the urinary tract and occasionally you will get an actual infection. My best piece of advice to you is this: #1 increase the amount of water you are drinking to get your urinary tract system cleared of the salts and minerals that can deposit and irritate. #2 unsweetened cranberry juice does help kill off some forms of bacteria that irritate and inflame so drink a glass of that each day #3 call your doctor and tell them you think you may have a UTI - if you do you'll get on the antibiotics before the holdiays and by New Years you'll be feeling better Afterwards, make sure your water intake stays up and drink a glass of unsweetened cranberry juice at least once a week, especially when your sexual activity level increases. Having plain yogurt a couple of times per month will also help if you seem to be prone to irritations or yeast infections. Get yourself a decent blender and keep a bag of mixed frozen fruits in the freezer. Once a month make yourself a smoothie with plain yogurt, mixed fruits and a cup of unsweetened cranberry juice - share it with the family it's packed with good stuff. good luck to you and hubby - by the way, what movie did you see?
