Hi, I know that we are looking for the ultimate relief form pain. But, I just wanted to let you know that Ultram can be habit forming. I was on it regulary for a few years due to an auto accident and when I went to stop it I had just severe withdrawal symptoms, and had to gradually wean myself off. It took the better part of six months to do it and it was painful in itself. Non of my Dr.s wanted to help me through the process. You are better off using the Motrion more reg. and using the ultram when it is really bad, just my experience. My DR.s all said it was not addictive too. Good luck.
