Hi Tina, I was diagnosed Dec 14, and I'll tell you I've learned alot about my body and this disease in the past 12 days. My advice RESEARCH ... read as much as you can from reliable sources, I have a file of pdf's that Ive downloaded, web sites that have helped me and a few books that are recommended by the Endo association, I kinda feel like im in med school right now, but least now im in a better head space not worried and scared not knowing what is causing the constant pain. Make sure you have a GP that you can talk to also, I had to find a new one in July as mine was moving away and although that was a stressful thing it was a blessing as now I have a GP that is quite willing to work with me. I have an apt on the 3rd of Jan to see him and already have a game plan first to ref me to a new Gyn as I want a second opinion, second ref to a dietician, as Ive read that my diet can have a direct effect, and third a allergist so we can map out my sensitivities. This disease has robbed me of 7 .5 months because I didn't know what was wrong. Now I feel as if I can do something that i can make the decision to just treat the symptoms or to take a wholistic approach and try to improve my overall health and in turn reduce Endo's impact on my life.

Please feel free to email me directly I'd be more then happy to share the resources Ive found.
