New to the site...From: Penni (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Dec 27 17:28:15 2005
I am new to this site and have been "walking" around it reading everyone stories and hear myself so much in their words. I am 28 and have had endo since I was 21 while undergoing my first of many surgeries. Then they try to tell me that since Austin was born in 96 I have had it. But to tell me that would be saying that for two more years after that they dismissed my cries for help as postpartum. I have had everything from too much scar tissue and endo around every which organ possible to a hole under my uterus that they where falling into. One child bless his heart is now almost 10 in hopes for a little brother or sister soon. I have tried to explain it to him that I try but I'm too sick to give him one. I go in on Jan. 5th to arrange my 4th surgery to hopefully give him just that. It is amazing how I'm learning about new procedures that I never knew where available to me because my doctor appartently doesn't think I need to know. But with bullets in my belt I can now go in with an idea about this thing that is growing rapidly in my body. I give thanks to the women that speak their minds on this topic and will teach me things. I plan to come back here many more times in the future. Thank you again and good luck to everyone.
