Feeling frustrated and in painFrom: Rhonda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Dec 27 14:45:25 2005
ok so I posted the note on what types of pain killers does everyone use, I called my doc and told him that the vicoprofen that he gave me after surgery wasn't even touching my pain. The nurse calls me back and says she sent over an rx for anaprox little do I know that all that is is aleve!! My god if hydrocodine didn't touch the pain how the heck is aleve going to touch it. By the way to get prescription strength aleve just take two over the counter ones. I was on it for a hip injury about a year ago. I am beside myself. Not only am I beside myself because of the Rx, but when talking to the nurse she said oh dr. so and so (one of the others in the practice) showed me pictures of endo and it looks like white webbing around the uterus. Ok but endo is so much more andI explained that to her and she was like oh endo is such a bad diseas I go you have no idea, especially when you can't even have the option of BC or lupron. I just can't beleive how ignorant the nurse was, I know she isn't the one I usually talk to but still. Ok then to move on I said the pathology report form the surgery wasn't in last time I was there can you see if there was supposed to be one and if so can you have the doc call me about it. she say no pathology done the surgery notes just say he looked aroud and closed you up. ok I saw the before and after pics so I know he did something, I also know he couldn't do too much because of location but know I am doubting that too. Anyone else have endo on urethra and uteter tubes near the blader? did your doc's get it or not. Please help and thanks for listening Rhonda
