Hi! I am not really familiar with the procedure you are talking about, but I can tell you that I had an endometrioma drained during a laproscopy once. Unfortunately, it came back within a couple months. I had started seeing a new OBGYN after the laparoscopy, and he told me it's not the best idea to just drain them because it's very likely that the empty sac that's left behind will fill up again. Especially if you're prone to having cysts, like I am. He told me it's better to remove the entire endometrioma instead to prevent a future one on that site. He did that for me, and it hasn't returned. I don't know if this helps, and I don't mean to rain on your parade or anything! Good luck to you!
