If your pain is very severe you should defintley go to the ER, I had terrible pelvic pain and lower back pain, my regular doctor said it could be kidney stones they sent me for a CAT scan, which showed my pelvis was full of blood and they sent me straight to the ER. The ER doctor did an ultrasound and found I had a bledding cyst on my right ovary, they sent me home and told me to come back if it got worse. The pain was very bad I could not believe they sent me home, the next day I went to the gyn and I was running a fever and very sick, I was eventually hospitalized and told these things should not be taken lightly. They cyst eventually ruptured after they sent me home from the hospital. It was a month long ordeal of pain and not many answers, I missed several weeks of work and could not care for my child. I switched doctors and had a laproscopy done, which the blood form the cyst was still irritating my pelvis and abdomen, she also found I had endo all over the place. My ER Doctor and other doctors were not very good, luckily I found someone who acutally helped me figure out what was wrong and treat me. If you are sick with a fever you defintley need to be seen by a doctor
