Re: Chocolate cystFrom: Leigh (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Dec 18 21:54:54 2005
Hi Tracy, Sorry your having a hard time. If you have a cyst all the ultrasounds in the world are not going to do you any good. I would get all my medical records and get in to see a Gyno asap in another town if you have too. To my knowledge a Lap is the only way to get rid of cysts that don't naturally disolve themselves. Are you experiencing any other endo related symptoms? Do all the research you can to fully understand your options and weather or not the doc you do see is knowledgeable about Endo. The doctor you are currently going to should have a P/A or on call nurse. I would call them back and demand to speak to someone about your fever. If you feel it is not a flu and gets any worse go to the ER. Here are some links that have helped me and other's. Hope it helps and you feel better soon. http://health.ivillage.com/gyno/gynoendo/0,,nwhrc_75hlv75d,00.html http://www.endometriosistreatment.com/ http://www.bioscience.org/books/endomet/end66-96.htm#96 http://www.endomagazine.com/stories.shtml http://www.antonia-boyton.net/ http://or-live.mediwire.com/main/Default.aspx?P=Search&Search=endometriosis This last one is real good- complete with pictures, so you can have a better idea of what is going on.
