I know this sounds crazy and I haven't had a lap yet, mine is scheduled for next week. I was just diagnosed.

But anyway my Mom is an RN and she said that several of the lap patients she took care of did head stands, after they had recovered for a day or two. This helps move the gas lower in your body since has is lighter than air etc. Thus helping to relieve the shoulder pain.

You may be able to do this or not. It's just what she told me when we were discussing my imminent Lap.
