Sounds like it to me too...facial hair, weight gain around the middle, lack of menstruation....poly cystic ovary syndrome essentially means that when the ovaries try to release an egg it is trapped and forms a cyst, so you essentially don't ovulate (and don't have your period). your daughter may have difficulty getting pregnant initially, but the symptoms tend to resolve themselves after you have a baby. something about the change of hormones during pregnancy...
