Re: Stage IV and too young for a Hysterectomy

I am SO right there with you! I have been suffering with this for years and I am only 26! I was diagnosed at 22 and too far gone to help! I am TOO young for a hyst and desperatly want children someday...maybe I'm desperate because I feel like it's being taken away from me!!! It does take over your life and no one can TRULY understand it unless they've been there! I DO!!! The "menopause" made me feel old and fat and ugly! That sounds SO cheesy but it's reality! My friends teased me because I was always tired and "couldn't keep up"!!! I stopped the Lupron almost 2 years ago because my body just couldn't handle it anymore and the result is an upcoming surgery to remove anything that can be (unfortunately most of it can't be due to other possible organ damage)! I think I would rather live with the pain than a colostomy! You're not alone and I have to believe that SOMEDAY they will come up with something to help us!
