Re: any of you gone entirely off hormones with stage IV?

About a year ago, I decided to "chuck" the drugs just as you did! I just
couldn't take it anymore! Either my hair was falling out or I was
crying, queasy, irritable, my hands cramped...you name it...and it was
all because of medication to treat my "problem"! I am 26 and have had
endometriosis since I was 12...at the time, it was diagnosed as cysts! I
was just diagnosed 4 years ago and it was already stage IV. I have had
surgeries and there are some adhesions that can't be removed for health
risks. I even took the Lupron shot for over a year! I know what you're
going thru!!! I'm not taking anything now and the result is about to be
another surgery that my doctor really doesn't want to do! She thinks I
should try this or that...she doesn't know! It takes about 3-6 months to
come back in full force...but it doesn't just miraculously go away!!!
Good Luck...let me know what you decide! It's so nice to know I'm not
the only one! My doctor acts like I want to inflict pain on myself
because I am tired of "PILLS" after 16 years!
