I have had recurring abcesses on my left side. I've had 3 surgeries for marsupilization(sp?)and had it surgically drained in the ER. Although I did have the cyst return, it usually drained on it's own until last week when it came back and this seems to be the largest one yet. I was in the ER 2 days ago, and because of my prior surgeries they were afraid to treat me, so I am now waiting until Thursday to see my Doctor. I too have endometriosis, and have had laparoscopy done at least 4 times for that. I'm not sure what my doctor will want to do with me now. It sure is painful and uncomfortable, I've become a very mean person since "the cyst" has returned. It makes me want to be a boy. Hope you are doing better. >>Tara Hello, I was diagnosed with endo almost 10 years ago. I have had 2 laproscopic surgeries, two rounds of lupron, a d&c, and every imaginable oral or other type of hormonal treatment. Last year I started to have problems with my bartholin's glands. I would have an abcess every month near the time of my period. They were extremely painfull, and continue to be. I am having a hard time understanding exactly why I am having these issues with my bartholin's glands, and was wondering if anyone else has been on lupron and if this problem could possibly be due to the levels of hormones being disrupted. Just wondering. Also, I have had similar sores in my armpit on those glands. Anyone have a comment? I would really appreciate the input. gina
