I have been diagnosed with endo, my doctor removed as much as she could surgically but I still continue to have pain the week before my period and during my period (at least 2 weeks a month) and I feel like I am constantly taking pain pills. I can not take birth control pills due to having a blood clot from them 3 years ago. The pain is unbearable at times and Lupron seems like the only option to offer some relief. I have waited to get the shot because I am nervous about the side effects, the information I have says the main ones are hot flashes and bone loss. Any infomation about Lupron from someone who has actually had the treatment would be very helpful. Thank you.
