I know they make you sign the concents in case b/c if not they would have to go in twice in the event you needed the ovary removed so it's precautionary to begin with and not that they will have to but in the event they do kind of thing. I can understand the angst of when I wake up will I still have an ovary and tube or not and no one can predict ahead of time until they are in there and see the extend dear...
