My insurance makes me go through they're "mail order" prescription service, mainly for patients with diabetes, endo, meds you needs an injection for basically. They don't charge me anything as long as I do it their way and don't have to pay for my injections either. What luck. Walgreens here in Michigan told me the first time, when I thought I was supposed to get it through the local pharmacy, that it would cost $518 a month if I went through them. It's so darn expensive. I feel sorry for you because you have to come out of pocket that much. It's just not fair. Try Canada. A friend of mine gets hers for about $350 or so.
