You're ovulating then. The pill is preventing the conception. You ovulate 14 days BEFORE your period. This is a reproductive phsyiological fact. You might want to try avoiding cold drinks or cold foods at that time and hang out with a heating pad. It's all good. Increase your fluids, some nice hot peppermint tea is awesome at this time of year. You could even try some hot cocoa, with marshmellows and stir it with a peppermint candy cane. That way you'll receive the benefits of the peppermint.
