Meredith,

I consider myself one of the very few "lucky ones" that has had a great outcome from Lupron. I was pain free from the day of my surgery and have only had mild side effects from the Lupron. I definitely can deal with the hotflashes better than I could deal with the horrid pain I used to have.

I know what you're going through with missing work! I was lucky that I had an office full of wonderful people who were very supportive of what I was going through.

Since you are on Lupron, have you been taking a calcium supplement each day? If not, you may want to start right away. I have heard that Lupron users have high risks of osteoporosis. My doctor started me on calcium right away.

I wish you pain free days in the future! take care, Kara
