Re: Considering surgery...again

I have had it I told my doctor. So, after a few laps, he agreed to do a partial hysterectomy. The lining of my uterous had grown through and was adheased to my pelvic wall. So, we left the ovarys and it was the best thing I ever did in my life! No hormones needed. I did have a prolapsed vaginal wall after that though. No big deal compared to what I had previously put up with. It has now been over ten years since I had any laps. Due for one in Jan, but it has been well over a good ten years. I am hanging on to my ovarys for as long as i can. I just told my doctor that if she cannot save my ovary during the lap, the she needs to leave it alone. I would rather deal with this pain than chance hormonal symptoms. Lori L.
