Sarah,
Stress can definately add to pain and can cause some wierd things to
happen. I am not exactly sure how long you have to wait to try to
concieve, but my guess would not be too long. Our bodies are supposed
to recover quickly from laps although that is not always the case. I
had a lap and then I was put on bcp and lupron. I got pregnant 2 years
later, only because I was on treatments to try to keep my endo under
control. I do say this to try to give people some hope. I was
diagnosed with stage 4 endo a little over 7 years ago and I have had 3
pregnancies. I have a 5 year old, my son who passed away would've been
2 and I have a 1 year old. I didn't experience many problems between my
5 year old and 1 year old, but when my 1 year old was about 5 months
old, my pain came back worse then ever. Pregnancy is not a cure for
endo like so many doctors lead us to believe. I don't know, but there
seems to be some correlation between endo and miscarriages and maybe
even infant death. Don't know, that is purely a thought and just a gut
feeling that I have. I would check with your doc. about how long to
wait, but I would almost guess, the sooner the better your chances will
be of concieving since laps are targeted to clear endo (at least for a
little while) hope I helped and best wishes to you!
Hugs~`
