I went to the ER about eight months ago for the same reason. Sweaty, light headed, chest pains, heart racing, crazy feeling palpitations...they did an ekg, chest x-rays, blood work, yada yada and sent me home telling me it was the herbal remedies I was taking. I new better but that didn't get me far. I've continued having the chest pains ever since. My primary care doc sent me for and EEG, more blood work. Everything is normal. I was on Seasonale at the time, I'm on Aygestin now. Still having the chest pains, but everything else seems to have eased up a bit. It seems plausable to me that it could be a hormonal issue. I have had friends who have had to be taken off of certain birth control pills for the same reasons. I just kind of dropped it with my doctor because it didn't seem worth it to pursue, but I've considered asking my doc to send me to an endocrinologist. Alyson
