Cindy, I know exactly what your going through, I had the same thing happen to me. I suffer from endo, but they had also found a cyst on my right ovary (6cm) and told me it was suspicious. You automatically think its cancer and you cant help but worry, and think what if it is. I know its a terrible feeling, and you just want it out, NOW! I to had to wait for 8 weeks, which is normal where I live. They call you in before your sugery to have blood work done and check your blood pressure etc.

I had my surgery a few weeks ago, it turned out to be fibroids grouped together that looked like a cyst.

I can tell you to try to relax and think positive, though its hard to. I thought of the worst case scenarios and then I thought I would drive myself crazy before my surgery so I decided to think positive and if it was cancerous, then I would deal with it. Fibroids and cysts can come and go and grow, and yes, they can also burst, so get to the er if you sense something is wrong before your surgery.

All the best to you, I will think positive for you..
