Hi,

I think it is good that you are doing tests. Did you do an ultrasound?

I learnt the hard way about doctors not listening.. I was only diagnosed with endometriosis in August. Before that I was experiencing some pelvic pain, got a little swollen in the abdomen and had the back and thigh pain. These pains were not very severe.

I went to this gynaecologist and without even examining me he said I had an infection and gave me antibiotics. I took them.. and they did not work... When I went back to him he gave me more antibiotics. At this point I decided to see another doctor. When this new doctor did an ultrasound he saw a cyst that looked like a chocolate cyst... After going back a couple of times, I had a laparascopic surgery to remove the cysts (more had formed by that time), and confirmed that I have very advanced stage 3 endo.

If you are not getting relief, you need to find a doctor who will listen... and take steps to help you.

I can never understand why some doctors never listen...

I hope everything works out in your favour. Good Luck.
