Hi Lea,
Thanks for the interesting article, however I didn't find in there that
adenomyosis is not a form of endometriosis. Do you have another article
on that? I'm always reading as much as I can to see how to deal with
this and so far hysterectomy hasn't looked all that great as an option
at 38 yrs of age. I don't have any fibroids or polyps as those have
been looked for many times.
Was interesting to see that progesterone was contraindicated with
adenomyosis because of increasing uterine cramping. I am using the
Mirena IUD (which has progesterone) now for the adeno, but am having a
lot more uterine cramping. I was hoping it would go away once it
settled in. Still waiting to see if that's the case.
