Birth Control-when to start

Hi Everyone.

I started taking birth control pills about two weeks ago,for medical reasons. Unfortunately, I missed several doses and it was decided that I should discard the package I was using, and begin taking a new one, but my doctor advised to start the new package when my period started again. The last pill I took was on Monday, and my period came today (six days later). What I am wondering is do I start taking the new package tomorrow (sunday start) or wait until my regular period-which I really dont have, but my last period came on October 13th, therefore, had it not been for the usage of the pills, my next period would have arrived at approximately the same time in November. Should I wait until then, or start my next pill tomorrow since the period that I now have was brought on, by ceasing to take Ortho-tricylen 21 day birth control) pills?

IF there are any experienced birth control pill users or better yet, gynocologists out there for that matter, please provide your advise.

Thanks ladies.

Love and peace
