This is my first time posting here, just have some questions for anyone with endo and IBS both. I was diagnosed with IBS about 5 years ago, and just recently diagnosed with endo when I had my gallbladder removed and my dr (thankfully) found it. Even though I always suspected that it was the source of my pain. I have been on birth control since I was 14 for cysts (also have PCOS) and pelvic pain, which really only regulated my period, did not help with pain. I tried Lupron for two months but it just made me so sick feeling that I stopped using it. I am now scheduled for surgery for my endo at the end of november. I am meeting with a GI doc next week about my IBS and was wondering if anyone else had surgery for the endo and what their experience was with relieving pain and digestive issues that seem to be tied together with endo and IBS? Understanding that the surgery is not going to eradicate my pain issue, I am hoping that it may help with some of the digestive issues. Anyone else have any luck? Or did it change it at all? Thanks for any responses :)
