Hello. .I'm new to this board, and thanks to the internet I've found that alot of my symptoms are ENDO related (I think?). The symptoms are: 1. Consistant vaginal bleeding. . .like a period but for 3 weeks now! Mild. 2. SEVERE lower back pain - not in the bone but deep inside. 3. Pain radiating to buttocks and sometimes even down the leg. 4. Water retention 5. VERY sore breasts, tender but hard. (bummer that's not the usual- ha!) 6. Abdominal swelling (severe) and gas. 7. Headache - turning to a bad migraine at least 4 times in the last 3 wks. 8. Nausea I know I'm missing something in there. .but some of the symptoms come and go so I'm really thinking about the ones that really bother me. The most persistant is the PAIN and HEADACHE/MIGRAINE. I've tried pregnancy tests but all THREE came back negative. An initial visit to the doc says there's no infection. I'm waiting for the PAP test results and have an ultrasound scheduled in 2 days. In the mean time, the Dr. suggested I take OTC meds and I almost screamed right then and there! I've already been taking Naproxin and Imitrex for the migraines. . NO WAY were OTC drugs going to squash this pain. I've had heavy periods before, and I've had period pain. But NONE have lasted this long w/so many other symptoms. I found most of the symptoms of ENDO to match mine accept the fertility one. I'm pretty sure I have no prob's there. So for the last few days I've been reading up on ENDO. . and I told my mom about it. . she said it runs in the family! I didn't know that until now. .but my mom's mom's mom had it, my mom's mom, my MOM. . and right on down the line! My mom also had an endoscopic pregnancy (where cells, tissue, bone, etc. grow in a mass). So - is any of this sounding familiar to other women out there? Am I on the right track seeing a gyno first and taking all these funky tests? I feel like I should be in the Emergency Room with all the pain I'm having. . .not waiting around for tests! It REALLY HURTS that bad. . Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. . .I'll keep reading the posts here.
