Hi Jamie, Recovery time is for sure an individual thing, like others have said. I had a lab on Sept 26 and I found my recovery took longer than I thought it would. I came out of surgery feeling actually pretty normal (the nurses were even joking about how I looked as if I didn't even need to go to the recovery room because I woke up so well), but after a couple days I really started to feel rundown. I think I pushed myself too hard to return to normal activities and maybe that made my recovery take longer all in all. I'd say, if you feel like you need more time, you probably do. In fact, one of my incisions has still not healed completely and I think it may be due to the fact that I went right back to school and work (I teach dance). Feel better and rest whenever you can! Only you can know when you're healed! -Kelli
