Hi Jamie, After all my Laps I was back at work the monday after(surgery friday). I found that it wasn't to bad as long as I didn't lean on any counters with my tummy(I worked in retail at the time). I found that my major surgery took way longer to recover from... However, that being said, I have found that recovery is extremely individual and that as you get older it can take longer, as well as, the more surgeries you have the longer it can take.
