Becky, I just had my second lap on the 6th of the month. It took me about 6 days before I started really feeling better and then another 3 or 4 before my strength started coming back. If you are running a fever, bleeding alot, and you don't feel alot better soon you should probably call the doctor just to check. As far as the endo coming back...everyone is different. I had to have my second lap a year after my first. Some women feel significantly better for alot longer than that. I think some of it has to do with how your doctor removed the endo and what kind of follow up treatment you are on. I know it is really hard not to be anxious about what the future holds. I was completely shocked to find out how much worse my endo had gotten in only a year, and I wonder every day if the new treatment I'm on will slow it down or not... whether or not I'll be able to have kids when I'm ready. I really have to talk myself into taking it one day at a time...easier said than done, I know. Looking at the big picture sometimes can be too over whealming, its a little easier to handle one piece at a time. We're all here for you. Alyson
