My Surgery Results-Yikes!

Hey Ladies, I'm finally feeling a little more with it, so I thought I would take a moment to update anyone who's interested in the results of my Lap last Thursday. This was (as some of you know) my second lap in a year's time...I was very worried that it was too soon for the doctor to find anything. Well...he found quite alot. I had an "orange sized" pocket of endo sitting against my right hip/pelvic bone that he said was bound down by a good bit of scar tissue. He excised that and sent it to pathology. I also had several large areas on my utero sachral ligament, the front and back of my uterus, and behind my ovaries on the abdominal wall. In a new development, my ovaries had two large implants each. He spent about two hours in there, and I hurt like crazy when I woke up. So, I'm a bit freaked by what he found. My first lap showed implants on the front and back of my uterus and on the ligament...but none on my abdominal wall, ovaries or pelvis. I've been on Seasonale since that lap. It baffles me that I could have progressed so much in such a short period of time with only having 4 periods during that time. The new doc has put me on pregesterone...I'm just really worried now. The attack of the "what if's" On a positive note....after my first lap I could still feel the endo pain, not so this time! Alyson
