Re: anyone know a good endo specialist in CANADA?

I've had surgery with her, and she's amazing, the most important thing that i liked the most was she didn't promise results but she said she'd try. I loved her bedside manner, and how she was so understanding and compassionate towards me, how after surgery she called me for the first few days to check on me, and then how she still checked up on me before i went away on holidays just to see how i was feeling. You can tell she is in the profession she is in because she loves to help people not for the money or glory. She was able to do my surgery and remove the endo she could see, I also have microscopic endo, so I now have pain relief but I'm not pain free, and with knowing that she might not be able to do anything and it was worth a try, makes the bit of pain relief I have absolutly great because having a bit was better then getting my hopes up of being pain free and not being. I have my post op apt with her on the 19th of Oct and I will learn more and we are probably going to play around with some meds for pain relief. The one thing I like about her is she told me she doesn't like putting young people on Lupron for long peroid of time because of the long term side effects. I did Lupron for three months with my first doctor(who transfered my care to her because he could no longer help me), and because of my side effects and how I was allergic to something in it I couldn't do more. Anyways enough rambling, all my care is out of Mt Sinai Hospital in Toronto, I have to traavel 5 hours for care but it is so worth it, with how amazing there Endocrinology unit is.

I will be able to tell you more as of the 19th of Oct, since I've only ever seen her twice, once for my first apt every (begining of Aug (8th) I think) then again Sept 7th when I had surgery.
