Well Tomorrow will be my 6th and final lupron shot! I'm so excited to be done wit it! As nice as it has been with out a period! it will be nice to maybe regain some normal moods! i have heard alot of discussion about lupron and all the side effects from it! So I thought I would put my story out there! I strted the shots about 6 months ago and i had one period on the first month with the shot but none after that! It has been really nice not dealing with that pain! The only pain i have experinced is some pain in my kidneys and my doc reasured me it was not a kidney infection. the cause I'm still unsure but the pain was not bad and not all the time! i can't solely blame lupron for my moods! I had the same kind of moods but not a severe on another birth control pill! But i would get really angery! and then really sad! some times i would cry for hours upon hours for nothing really! Thank god my Boyfriend is very patichent! I have had the hot flashes which suck but were not un bareable! i have been really fatigued but that could also be from my heart condition and those new meds! I have gained some weight since the start of the shot but i had gained a total of 30lbs since the start of the endo! I made it through with out any estragin (spelling unknown) Which i'm proud of my self for doing! I think that about sums up how i have felt on the medication! It's been a nice 6 month break from the pain! However, i want to be a normal person agian i want to have the moods i had before endo and birthcontrol pills i just hope I can still be that person! Well here's to a new beginning i hope! and i will keep you posed as to life after lupron! Good lick and pain free days for all! ~Taylor
