Hi Hela,

I experience the same pain. About a year and a half ago, I had x-rays taken that revealed I have narrowing in my discs in my lower back. I was given excerises and Ib600mg to take. The Ib doesn't help with pain, but does help with the swelling. My back gets so bad at times I can barely walk. It's usually from doing to much in a day, whether it's cleaning house or walking a couple miles. I also have Endometriosis. >From what I know and have read your periods are worse (like mine and
yours) and back pain is common. I've been taking Ib600's, try to relax more when it's that time, and use a heating pad at every night. I wake up in the morning and feel more flexible and the pain has diminished, but like you say by the end of the day it's at it's worst. I just saw my doctor and he says back strengthening exercises are best to help diminish pain along with Ib (for swelling). I would talk to a doctor. I definitely wouldn't see a chiropractor because they don't fix the problem, they just help with temporary relief from pain.

If you do have Endometriosis, like me, I'd say all of the pains you experience during your cycle are caused by it. I'm now taking the Lupron 3.75 shot, once a month for the next 6-9 months. During the first month when my period was present I did notice a decrease in abdominal pains, but my back pain seems more constant. I'm not entirely sure but if you're being treated for this disease then I'd say it was related.
