Re: back painFrom: Sudsey (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Oct 5 08:03:16 2005
Hela~ Back pain is no fun at all, my heart goes out to you. If you might think it's water retention have you tried a med with a diuretic in it to see if it might help with that? I get back pain but have somewhat come to just expect it for myself. Other causes might be bladder or Kidney infection or kidney stone. I have taken back pain pills with a diuretic in them to help me before as well as Diurex ( not at the same time of course) for water retention but you have to keep in mind to drink ALOT of water if you take them. I think one of the period meds has a diuretic in it maybe Midol can't remember the exact one sorry..I'm pretty sure it could be endo related but can also have other causes. Of course with stones and infection there is usualy other symptoms to go with it though I can have a bladder infection and never know it myself. I had one and when my doc told me I was like shocked I guess b/c I expected to have felt it when I had not and I run daily fevers so it's not that a fever would tip me off on it either. I go nuts myself never knowing if it's period related until my period is over and if it's lingering I worry if it goes away I blame my period. I don't know if I've been any help at all here just tossing out some food for thought. I hope you feel better soon. Hugs Sudsey
