Lisa, Unfortunately, I believe your doctor (like so many) has wrongly informed you. Burning out the endo (although maybe helpful) is not the answer. In my opinion, she shouldn't have stopped there, but told you of some treatment options. Maybe birth control. Unfortunately they don't work for everyone, but for some they do. I'm one who's body fights off any treatment. So far, nothing has worked for me. She shouldn't just leave you hanging there just waiting and wondering when it will come back because unfortunately it does come back, it just doesn't go away. Darn it for them and not for telling you more! I'm sorry that you have to deal with this unfortunate disease, hope it helps to know that we all care and we are here for you! Take care! Hugs~` Lori D.
