facial numbness and lupron?

Ok, so has anyone experience any facial numbness w/ lupron? About a week after my 2nd shot I had a couple bouts of this numb feeling in my left cheek. It didn't last very long. Yesterday it was much more intense (although still not completely numb) and seemed to have spread a bit and lasted several hours. This morning it started again shortly after I woke up and within an hour of talking w/ the drs office has spread up around my left eye and across my nose and lips. Weird, huh? Still not completely numb, but definitely annoying!!! I just called the drs office back to let them know it was getting worse--they told me to do that. I have an appt on Monday afternoon w/ the re to discuss the other s/e (horrible anxiety and what was sporadic numbness--but now it seems to be getting worse.) Needless to say I have having a horrible time concentrating at work, (because I am worried there is something really wrong, not because I am having problems concentrating otherwise) but I am going to try--at least that will distract me, I hope!

This really stinks! I am thinking the 2 shots of lupron will be it for me. I went into this after doing tons of research, so I guess I 'should' have been prepared--I guess I was more prepared for stuff like hot flashes and mood swings, but I also knew that like anything it would effect me differently that anyone else.

I hope the dr calls back soon--I hope they can get me in today, but I will probably have to wait until Monday.

Thanks for listening! mj
