Re: homeopathy?From: Hela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Sep 30 09:29:47 2005
Hi Erudite, I am at the moment taking homeophatic remedy (I am seeing a homeopath once every month) The remedy is constitutional, what means it is not to cure symptoms, but going to the root of a problem.. It requires a lot of patience, because the progress is quite slow, as it works on quite a deep level.. This is my experience with hom. though.. there are remedies for syptoms as well, as you mentioned.. I have to say I have very good experiences.. the slow progress doesnt frustrate me, because at least I see SOME progress.. If I have a outbreak, I take an emergency remedy for particular symptom, but long term i am only taking the constitutional remedy (that one helps me mainly on psychological level so far - what is great, because I used to have quite a lot of problems like depressions and suicidal feelings etc..) about a year ago, I had internal bleedidng, and I almost had another operation (had one about 3 weeks before that) but my body dealt with it very well on its own, so I didnt need it.. the docs were quite impressed that my body absorbed all that blood and that I recovered so quickly.. :-) It is not easy to get the constitutional remedy right - sometimes it requires couple of tries, so symtoms can sometimes get worse.. and of course you must find a REALLY GOOD homeopath!! But I ecourage youto try it - if it doesnt help at least it doesnt do you harm, like conventional medicine can... Take care and good luck!! :-) Hela
