Hi Trisha,
Hope I can help...fulgurate means to remove. I am thinking that your
doctor used several different methods to remove your endo. He
definitely used excision and cauterization. The excisional biopsy is a
normal procedure (they just take a little piece and send it to the lab),
its normal to use blunt and sharp dissection methods (it all depends on
the area), lysis of the adhesions also means removal and the fact that
your endo was vaporized as opposed to simply coagulating it is a good
thing. It sounds like you have had previous surgery so I hope this one
works well for you.
Let us know how you're feeling.
